BAYON
Charming, drop-dead gorgeous Hunter, Bayon, is thirsting for revenge on the enemies who slipped into the Wildlands and attacked Ashe and her vulnerable child.  Pledging to track down the cowards, Bayon goes on the hunt, pursuing the humans to a nearby town.  While searching their shabby home, he makes a discovery that shocks him to his very soul and might very well destroy the very heart of the Pantera.
JEAN-BAPTISTE
Tattooed and pierced, sexy Nurturer, Jean-Baptiste, has been living in utter isolation. His cat is out of control and the only thing that soothes the beast, is a rare mineral he keeps having inked into his skin. Until he meets her. Genevieve Burel, the beautiful and buttoned up female puma is unlike anyone he’s ever met. She makes his cat purr, and he knows he must possess her, mate with her. But the secret she’s keeping might threaten not only their unbridled passion for one another, but the very future of the Pantera race.

Series Overview:

New Year. New World. New Species.

LEGEND OF THE PANTERA

Hidden in the depths of the Louisiana bayous, the Pantera, have become little more than a legend to most humans. It’s rumored that in the ancient past twin sisters, born of magic, had created a sacred land and claimed it as their own. From that land was born creatures who were neither human or animal, but a mixture of the two.

Faster and stronger than humans, they have hyper acute senses, and when surrounded by the magic of the Wildlands they’re capable of shifting into pumas.

It was also whispered that they possess other gifts. Telepathy, witchcraft, immortality, and the ability to produce a musk that could enthrall mere mortals.

Mothers warned young girls never to roam alone near the swamps, convinced that they would be snatched by the Pantera, while young men were trained to avoid hunting anywhere near the protected Wildlands.

Not that the warnings were always successful.

What girl didn’t dream of being seduced by a gorgeous, mysterious stranger? And what young man didn’t want to try his skill against the most lethal predators?

As the years passed, however, the sightings of the Pantera became so rare that the rumors faded to myths.

Most believed the entire species had become extinct.

Sadly they weren’t entirely mistaken…

  1. How crazy fun are the two of you when you get together in person? Do you ever write together or is it all done electronically? I think you’re both fantastic! Thanks.

  2. Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night and immediatly have to write down your idea or story line?? I swear if I could wake up enough to write, I’d have some great ideas!

  3. While working on a storyline together, how do the ideas of new characters/ plots come in? Are there many disagreements about how/ if they will work their way into the series?

  4. What was the best part writing Bayou Heat book 2 about Bayon & Jean-Baptiste for both of you?
Can’t wait to read their stories!

    amieesnow@gmail(dot)com

  5. have you ever had your idea clash in a book together or are ideas like that put aside for your own stories?

  6. where do you go for inspiration when you have writers block? what is the best advice you can give to new writers to help them get there books published and well loved?

  7. how do two different writers manage to get two stories to mesh so well? Loved the first book waiting for the next one.

  8. What made the two of you chose this specific genre or supernatural being to write about in your joint novel? I love both of your series separately and think you are amazing. sdylion(at)gmail(dot)com

  9. How do you handle it when you have different ideas about a storyline? Also I have read many authors who say their characters “talk” to them and tell the story. Does co-writing a book interfere with that type of process?

  10. Do you put much of your everyday real lives into your writing? I know these are paranormal and fantasy, but I’m sure at least a small bit can be pulled from memory.

  11. I would love to know where you go to find names for your characters. I can’t picture you ladies looking through baby name books. lol

  12. How did you decide to team up? Had you previously discussed the Pantera world before combining forces or did that come after your decision to do this series together?

  13. I already know you ladies love working together and are wonderful friends. What is one thing about the other that really gets on your nerves but you are too afraid to mention it?

  14. What made you start to write together? How long have you been writing together and who comes up with the initial story lines/plots???

  15. Are posters to the Bayou Heat book covers available for purchase or have you even thought about having them made. I want one for this next book Bayon/Jean Baptiste

  16. Do you base any of your characters on people you know? Do you use anything from everyday happenings in your book? Do you listen to music while writing?

  17. How do you decide what the major plot of the series is going to be (in any series of books you write)? How do you make sure you stick to that (especially if the book starts taking its own twists and turns)?

  18. What helps you both come up with personalities for your hero’s? I Love, LOVE LOVE Raphael’s & Parish was quite interesting as well. So I cant wait to get my hands on this next installment…hehe I love this series so please PLEASE keep them coming. Big Hugs

  19. I think about Levet like I do Jar Jar Binks, he’s there to provide a little comic relief when things get tense. Is that how you see him, Alexandra?

  20. Both of you Ladies are so busy how did you come up with the concept to write these amazing stories and how did you manage to find the time to write in tandem and still maintain your other schedules, not that I’m complaining me here is extremely grateful because I get so many more wonderful books to read you are both just wonderful writer and extremely kind people congratulations <3

  21. How do you decide on who gets to write which character? Do you fight over the hot men you want to write about? Or are you civil (lol) and take turns?

  22. I love following you both on Facebook. How difficult is it for you to shut down social media & “get to work”?

  23. What made you want to do a books series together? Do you both right each book or do you pick who is going to write certain characters??

  24. What method did you guys use to co-write together? For instance, did you each write a chapter, focus on a character, or build on each others ideas?

  25. did you two know you wanted to write together or was this suggested by someone else? and why did you choose the shifter forms you chose?

  26. Have you been long times friends and have decided to write books together, or did you meet each in the industry and form an AMAZING pairing? :)

  27. As a lover of all things paranormal but new to this series… Before I start it what is it you would want me to know about it?

  28. A cougar as a shifter is unusual – most of the cats I’ve seen in shifter books are tigers, lions and jaguars. Why the cougar, instead of a more exotic cat? Is it modeled after a real-life cat group facing extinction, like the Florida panther?

  29. Was wondering if either of you had ever tested a story by publishing it on an online site such as fanfiction or twilighted? Seems like I am seeing quite a few stories that have been published on one of those venues make it to e-books or bound volume so it has made me curious how many authors are taking advantage of that avenue for feedback.

  30. Do you find that it is easier to write first thing in the morning or late at night? What snack food or drink do you absolutely have to have while writing?

  31. I hope I’m doing this correctly. Are you going to make Julia pregnant and if so how about twins? Plus how do you decide which characters you’ll feature next? And why do authors leave us hanging?

  32. Do you write a whole bio for all your characters before you start a book/series, like the whole of the person comes to you at once, or do they develop as the story does?

  33. Do either of you work a day job still or do you solely write?btw I ♥♥♥ the results of the collaboration between you two.

  34. Hi – I am late to register, the rafflecopter isn’t loading for me to enter, can you help, I will be attending the twitter party Thur evening, talk with you then

  35. How do derive at names for your characters. Naming to me is so very important. Do they just come to you? Do you use a baby name book? Do you actually research the meaning of names before you name a character…to fit the character’s desired personality traits?
