LEGEND OF THE PANTERA

Hidden in the depths of the Louisiana bayous, the Pantera, have become little more than a legend to most humans.  It’s rumored that in the ancient past twin sisters, born of magic, had created a sacred land and claimed it as their own.  From that land was born creatures who were neither human or animal, but a mixture of the two.

Faster and stronger than humans, they have hyper acute senses, and when surrounded by the magic of the Wildlands they’re capable of shifting into pumas.

It was also whispered that they possess other gifts.  Telepathy, witchcraft, immortality, and the ability to produce a musk that could enthrall mere mortals.

Mothers warned young girls never to roam alone near the swamps, convinced that they would be snatched by the Pantera, while young men were trained to avoid hunting anywhere near the protected Wildlands.

Not that the warnings were always successful.

What girl didn’t dream of being seduced by a gorgeous, mysterious stranger?  And what young man didn’t want to try his skill against the most lethal predators?

As the years passed, however, the sightings of the Pantera became so rare that the rumors faded to myths.

Most believed the entire species had become extinct.

Sadly they weren’t entirely mistaken…

Raphael has devoted his life to discovering why Pantera females are no longer capable of becoming pregnant. Creating a vast network of spies among the world, he never expected to discover that the answer might be beneath his very nose.  But when Ashe, a beautiful human female, turns up pregnant with his child, he realizes that there’s an enemy out there determined to bring an end to the Pantera.  And that they’ll stop at nothing to achieve their goals.

PARISH

Untamed and undeniably sexy, Parish, leader of the Pantera hunters, rarely leaves the magic of the Wildlands to deal with the humans he despises. But with the prized and risky Pantera birth on the way, puma shifter, Parish must travel to New Orleans to find and bring back a human doctor. The moment he sees the lovely, talented and all too human Dr. Julia Cabot he cannot resist the wild, potent drive to make her his. Betrayed and destroyed by love, Julia will not let her heart choose her path again. But as she and Parish fight to save the life of an unborn child, a fierce and overwhelming bond develops between them, threatening her frozen heart with the secret hope and ultimate temptation of love and family.

  1. What current author that you do not know would you like to have lunch with and why? I love you both – thanks for all the great reading material :) .

  2. It sounds like this is two stories set in the same “world.” How much did you two work back and forth on/in each other’s stories beyond “creating” the background world?
Also, do you have favorite/preferred paranormal ‘creatures’ to write or read about?

  3. This series sounds like it is going to be fantastic, will there be any more than the 3 I’ve seen listed? :)

  4. Are there any other authors that either of you would like to collaborate with?

I love both of your series & am really looking forward to Bayou Heat!

  5. First I would like to say that I am so excited about this new series from two of my favorite authors and I am looking forward to the journey!!!
My question is: What came about that lead the two of you to join together and write this series?
    Happy reading and writing*

  6. Do you find writing with a partner makes the process easier or more difficult. Which genre do you find more easy to write, paranormal or striaight fiction?

  7. What is it that draws you to the paranormal romance genre and how will this series stand apart as a new facet/subgenre. How will you avoid falling into the same tropes? I know that is three questions. Sorry.

  8. Hi this is Elaine from strictly Canadian coupons and contests. I’d like to join ur twitter party but I can’t get the rafflecopter to open on my cell phone. Could u please add me to the list? My twitter handle is @SCCC5

  9. if given the opportunity would you let someone make your book into a motion picture ? or do you feel too much of the story would be lost that way?

  10. What did you find the most difficult about pairing up to write this book? What was better about it than writing on your own?

  11. I have the Bayou Heat on my to read list, but haven’t started yet. Since you are each writing one book in the series how do you keep track of facts that need to be remember in each others books? I find single authors sometimes even get small oops’es thru editing. Just wondered if it was more difficult or easier since you are working on separate books.

  12. I am a hopeful, unpublished writer and I just wonder how nervous you both were while writing your first novels. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around what the readers might think, scared actually. How did you overcome that?

  13. Love you guys! How is it like writing a series together? Are you always together in person or on the phone or via Skype?

  14. I love both of you sooo much as Authors. I have all & I mean All of Alexdra Ivy’s books :D And I cant wait to add to my beautiful collection. Was it difficult coming together and writing the stories? or was it more like Best Friends where Great minds think alike? :D

  15. Do you both have a favorite memory from all the times you got together when you collaborated on this series? And was wine involved?

  16. will this be all e reader books or multi formats and how many books will be in this series? looking forwaed to reading this. thank you

  17. Is there anything in particular, or do you have a secret muse, that you use to inspire you for characters or themes?

  18. Do you live near each other or do you do your writing long distance. Who came up with the original concept for the Bayou series?
