What gets you in the mood & focused on writing? Music, coffee ?
I just make my tea and sit down to write
How much do people you know (or have known) in real life inspire your creation of the characters, their traits, personalities, actions, situations they find themselves in, etc.?
A lot, some characters are a combination of people’s traits and characteristics others are just completely made up.
Where do tou get your inspiration for what to write?
When the idea come to put together boxed set, where does it come from and who decides which writers to approach about it?
Day dreams, dreams, nightmares, other people.

Captured was released previously. I haven’t written a novella but I am considering it for a spinoff on my Kindred series.
Whats the best part in working with others to do a box set?
Getting to work with some amazing authors and having the opportunity to reach new readers.
how do you choose the book you’re adding to the boxed set-do you all decide or the publisher
I was able to choose which book I wanted to enter.
When you are writing a book, do you try to refrain reading other books because the books may somehow influence your story line or characters?
No but unfortunately I haven’t had the time to read lately that I used to have.

Who are your favorite paranormal authors? How would you say your writing is most similiar to?
I was a huge fan of the vampire diaries. I read the first four books over and over again when I was 14.
do you read your fellow boxed set authors and if so which other of their books do you recommend
I haven’t had a chance to read them yet but I plan to soon!
What do you do to help get you through a writers block?
Just keep on writing. I find just powering through helps. If what you write is crap, you can always fix it on a rewrite and sometimes the best stuff comes out of it and you end up traveling paths you never even thought of

Do you ever get to travel to research books? If so, what your favorite spot?
I wish but I’m going to have to start writing about other countries, I’m thinking Australia first
I’ve read only a couple of books from the authors here so I’m eager to check this anthology out. My question is one for all:
Since these are romances featuring vampires (among other things), what to you is the most alluring part of the vampire as a romantic hero/heroine? Immortality? Blood lust? Etc.?
I’d have to go with the immortality and the danger they represent.

A combination of both but mostly imagination.
